LED lights are very popular now and many people substitute old light bulbs for them. But don’t throw your bulbs away, you can find a cool use for them. Today’s tutorial is dedicated to sweet and easy bulb vases, these hanging cuties won’t take your much time, money or efforts and you know there can’t be enough vases in any home.
The DIY itself is pretty easy but I think that making holes in bulbs may be a bit tricky and somehow dangerous, so you should follow the instructions very carefully, let’s get started. The first step is to remove the bottom of the light bulb using pliers. This project involves a fair bit of glass breaking, so it’s a good idea to wear gloves, safety googles, and work in a plastic bag for easy clean-up, since the glass pieces are so small. Once the bottom is removed, it’s time to break the thick black glass. Use the pliers or a screwdriver to get inside the small hole, and break it that way. Use a metal skewer and twist it around to try and crack the glass. Once it is cracked, work the tip of the needle nose pliers in and try to break it up so it would come out.
