13 Simple DIY Ways To Dry Herbs From Your Garden

We’ve already shared some ideas to use herbs from your garden, and some of the recipes included dry herbs but we haven’t told you how to dry them. Today I’m going to correct that and tell you how to dry them so that they preserved all the necessary properties. If the herbs are clean, do not wet them. Otherwise, rinse dust and dirt from the foliage, shake off the excess water, and spread the herbs out to dry on paper towels or dishcloths until all surface moisture has evaporated. Remove any dead or damaged foliage. Then choose a way to dry them: air, microwave, oven drying or freezing, better vary the way according to the herbs you have.
