Any kind of pot kept outside requires much more frequent watering than plants that are in the ground – there is just limited soil to retain the water. If you forget about watering or just don’t have time to water often, then you definitely need a couple of cool self-watering garden beds or planters, and as we’ve already told you of garden beds, let’s have a look at the planters. Of course, you can place a plastic bottle with water on the side of your planter and it will water as much as you need. There are also more creative ideas like making a water reservoir or even cut the bottle in halves and pour some water into the lower half. Read the tutorials below and find out more details!
