DIY Faux Aged Copper Succulent Planter

DIY Faux Aged Copper Succulent Planter

Need a beautiful planter? Make this cool faux aged one! The supplies are a plastic bowl, copper metallic paint & paint brush, blue patina spray, some rocks, a cacti/succulent potting mix and succulents. Apply one light coat of copper paint over the entire surface of the bowl, inside and out, then let it dry completely. The blue patina spray is what causes the cool aging effect, and it needs to be sprayed on while the paint is still wet. So, once your first coat of copper paint is dry, apply a second coat and then got to spritzing. Here’s the aging copper effect, spanning from about 10 seconds after patina application to roughly an hour later. Head over to wherethesmileshavebeen.com to continue reading.
