Even a single child can contribute to saving the planet. After reading a book from the Tree Book Tree program, a child can plant it and watch it to grow into a tree. It’s a wonderful way to teach kids about the cycle of growth, where paper comes from, and what we can all do to reduce the negative environmental impact of paper production. Printed on acid-free paper and silk-screened using eco-friendly inks, the book is hand-stitched and bound with Jacaranda seeds carefully sown into the pages to help it grow. In the manufacturing process, we can adopt clean technology to minimize paper and pulp production’s negative environmental impact, and this book is a nice example of saving our ecology.
