Gardeners, pay attention! Here’s a new collection of sturdy copper gardening tools, called Grafa. Toolmaker Travis Blandford experimented with recycled lengths of copper plumbing to create prototypes for the Grafa line of hand tools, which includes a hand hoe, scoop, fork, bulb planter, trowel, and tube trowel. The reason why the tools look so is because the toolmaker found a way to design without the use of expensive machinery, and timber handled range came later, as the processes became more sophisticated. The collection can also boast of snoil, it’s a copper coil to repel snails in the garden and the newest product the Grafa team is developing.
